Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 1 September 2026

selftickr has public surfaces — profiles, share cards and a leaderboard. These rules keep them usable and keep people safe.

Do not impersonate

  • Do not claim a ticker that corresponds to a listed security, a well-known cryptocurrency, a trademark, or a brand you do not own. These symbols are reserved and claims on them will be reversed.
  • Do not present yourself as another person, or use another person's name, likeness or photo on a public profile.
  • Do not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, any company or public figure.

Do not target other users

The leaderboard is not a target list. Harassment, threats, extortion, stalking, and publishing another person’s private information are prohibited, as is scraping public profiles to build one.

Do not game the numbers

Fabricating figures to climb the leaderboard, running multiple accounts for the same person, or manipulating snapshot history is prohibited. Accounts we believe are inflated are removed from public ranking; every public figure carries a self-reported marker because none of it is independently verified.

Do not abuse the service

  • No automated scraping, credential stuffing, or attempts to exceed rate limits.
  • No probing for or exploiting vulnerabilities. If you find one, email security@selftickr.com — we will not pursue good-faith reports.
  • No using selftickr to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content.

Reporting

Every public profile has a Report control. You can also email support@selftickr.com. We aim to respond to reports of impersonation or harassment within 48 hours and may suspend a profile while we review it.
